About:
About: The younger brother of Jeddek Grimtotem aka Deathgore, Garaddon was yet another disappointment to Azok and Serga, but to avoid the wrath of Magatha they suffered when Jeddek was born, the two Tauren decided to raise the young bull. As he grew, young Garaddon heard the call of the wild and followed the teachings of Hamuul Runetotem and became a druid.

Following this path, he later was reunited with a brother he had never known, but knew that he had become an idol of sorts to look up to. It was Deathgore who swayed the younger Grimtotem into joining him in the fight for Kael’Thas, a fight that both would realize was wrong. Briarthorne wandered his own path for a while during Deathgore’s absence from the guild and worked to further his usefulness to the Cenarion Circle, increasing his druidic powers as he did.

Some months ago, Briarthorne felt a beckons in the Emerald Dream and forced himself into a deep slumber in order to heed it. There he found the creatures and druids of the Dream under attack by the Emerald Nightmare, a shifting moving zone of hate and insanity, bent on the destruction of the dream itself. While powerful in his own right, he was unable to hold off the denizens of the Nightmare for long.

In his dying breath, he willed his power to the one person he had looked up to in his life, Deathgore. Unfortunately, resentment towards his brother for being his family’s favored child limited the power itself into a mere healing spell.

Recently, Briarthorne awoke as a death knight under the sway of the Lich King. After working his way through the ranks, Briarthorne was awakened at the battle for Light’s Hope and released from the Lich King’s influence. There, he returned to his original frame of mine, unfortunately twisted by the Nightmare, Briar was now stark raving mad and wanting only one thing: his power back. To further his madness, the only way he could do this was by killing Deathgore.

For weeks, Briarthorne rampaged through the hills and plains of Hellfire Peninsula, finally making his way to Shattrath City where he happened upon Tarthys Nolaris, leader of the Iconoclasts after recognizing the tabard of Aeturnas Trinitas. After some discussion, which seemed to disturb the elder death knight, Briarthorne was inducted into the Iconoclasts. Freeing himself of his former title and ties, he is now known as Icethorn the Shatterer.

Tauren: “The Grimtotem shall rule supreme. Magatha shall see to it. Yessss…”

Aeturnas Trinitas Proper: “More elves and more holy men. I want to hurt them, but Caldrik says I can’t. Someday.”
