About:
About: The younger brother of Jeddek Grimtotem aka Deathgore, Garaddon was yet another disappointment to Azok and Serga, but to avoid the wrath of Magatha they suffered when Jeddek was born, the two Tauren decided to raise the young bull. As he grew, young Garaddon heard the call of the wild and followed the teachings of Hamuul Runetotem and became a druid.
Following this path, he later was reunited with a brother he had never known, but knew that he had become an idol of sorts to look up to. It was Deathgore who swayed the younger Grimtotem into joining him in the fight for Kael’Thas, a fight that both would realize was wrong. Briarthorne wandered his own path for a while during Deathgore’s absence from the guild and worked to further his usefulness to the Cenarion Circle, increasing his druidic powers as he did. Some months ago, Briarthorne felt a beckons in the Emerald Dream and forced himself into a deep slumber in order to heed it. There he found the creatures and druids of the Dream under attack by the Emerald Nightmare, a shifting moving zone of hate and insanity, bent on the destruction of the dream itself. While powerful in his own right, he was unable to hold off the denizens of the Nightmare for long. In his dying breath, he willed his power to the one person he had looked up to in his life, Deathgore. Unfortunately, resentment towards his brother for being his family’s favored child limited the power itself into a mere healing spell. Recently, Briarthorne awoke as a death knight under the sway of the Lich King. After working his way through the ranks, Briarthorne was awakened at the battle for Light’s Hope and released from the Lich King’s influence. There, he returned to his original frame of mine, unfortunately twisted by the Nightmare, Briar was now stark raving mad and wanting only one thing: his power back. To further his madness, the only way he could do this was by killing Deathgore. For weeks, Briarthorne rampaged through the hills and plains of Hellfire Peninsula, finally making his way to Shattrath City where he happened upon Tarthys Nolaris, leader of the Iconoclasts after recognizing the tabard of Aeturnas Trinitas. After some discussion, which seemed to disturb the elder death knight, Briarthorne was inducted into the Iconoclasts. Freeing himself of his former title and ties, he is now known as Icethorn the Shatterer. Titles: The Shatterer Nicknames: None. Due to his focus on Goblin Engineering, Icethorn has begun to remove parts of his own body to replace them with more technological ones instead. Hooves have become rockets; the skin under his arms has been replaced with a parachute-like mesh forming patagia; etc. Archetype: Misanthrope Motivation: Vengeance Personality Traits: Melancholic: Positive: Intimidating, Honest, Mysterious, Creative Negative: Wrathful, Dark, Stubborn, Moody Choleric: Positive: Determined, Confident Negative: Ill-Tempered, Rude Pole to Pole 1: Wrathful to Forgiving Pole to Pole 2: Rude to Nice Misc. Views on the other races: Horde: Orcs: “They’re like big goblins!” Tauren: “The Grimtotem shall rule supreme. Magatha shall see to it. Yessss…” Blood Elves: “Oh how I hate them… Deathgore loved these creatures more than he loved his own people. One day they shall meet the same fate as you, big brother” *insane laughter* Trolls: “Why do they have horns in their mouths?” Forsaken: “Aren’t we Death Knights all Forsaken? Something to ponder…” Alliance Humans: “Treachery shall be your undoing… If not for the humans the Tauren could have been part of the Alliance… Too bad. I get to kill you for it now.” Dwarves: “They shatter nicely under my feet…” Gnomes: “Tiny men with big egos. Just as easily shattered as glass on stone…” Night Elves: “I met a night elf once. I gave him a big hug, but I broke him. I want another to test this on.” Draenei: “Squiggly faces. What are they? They’re funny looking…” Northrend Factions: Argent Crusade: “Bah, holy warriors that hunt undead. I’m an unholy warrior that hunts the living. Come and get me!” Frenzyheart Tribe: “These little ones amuse me, but they break too easily.” Kalu’ak: “They don’t freeze very well…” Kirin’Tor: “I once used magic. Magic requires mana. No Mana = dead mages…” Ebon Blade: “After Caldrik, they say what goes…” Oracles: “I always did like frozen fish sticks.” Sons of Hodir: “Oooh. I’ve heard people call them Frost Giants. I wonder how I can become a giant!” Wyrmrest Accord: “Bah, these things breathe fire. Kill them all.” Hand of Vengeance: “Oooh, to think big brother once helped them by giving them a magic potion. Someone took that and killed a lot of people. Maybe there’s hope for him yet.” Sunreavers: “More puny elves. Wonder if they break when you hug them…” Taunka: “Bah. Winter Tauren have no Grimtotem. Why bother?” Warsong Offensive: “Well, at least they say I can kill all the Alliance I want.” Ashtongue Deathsworn: “The Ebon Blade is a part of this. I guess they get to live.” Factions of Aeturnas Trinitas Tieresian Order: “More elves… Grrrrrrrr!” Iconoclasts: My family. Mr. Nolaris says I’m one of them. Mr. Caldrik lets me destroy things. I like it here.” Eternal Guard: “They too will succumb to the Nightmare and realize the true nature of the world.” Aeturnas Trinitas Proper: “More elves and more holy men. I want to hurt them, but Caldrik says I can’t. Someday.”
